Description
This 6-week course on zoom is designed for those who have some basic knowledge of the harmonium or have completed a Beginner’s Course with Seth. Building on the Beginner’s Course, these classes will introduce students to more challenging harmonium playing techniques, foundational principles of musicianship and music theory, and a deeper exploration of singing and leading kirtan. Additionally, students will add a series of new chants to their repertoire each week.
Live classes are supplemented by chant music notation, audio recordings, and video playback of each class, all of which are downloadable for lifetime use.
These classes offer not just guidance on growing technically through playing the harmonium and leading kirtan, but also the opportunity to make meaningful connections with others on this path.
The course includes:
12 hours of fun, accessible, interactive group learning
2 private 30 minute coaching sessions with Seth (scheduled separately)
5 chants for your personal practice or for sharing with others
Easy-to-read notation sheets and audio recordings for the chants we learn (download)
Video recordings of each session (download)
Home practice assignments and accountability partners from the group
Prerequisites:
You have taken at least 1 private session or course with Seth
Basic knowledge of how to play the harmonium
Basic understanding of Seth’s notation system
Students must provide their own harmonium.
Class size is limited to allow for more personal attention and a more intimate, group experience. Early registration is recommended to ensure a space.

Seth Lieberman
Seth Lieberman is a musician and yoga teacher residing in the Hudson Valley of New York. A lifelong music maker, he studied music composition, theory, clarinet, and piano at the University of Maryland, where he received BA in Music. During his 10 years of time living in Brooklyn, NY, he completed 3 different yoga teacher trainings. Seth has joined his two passions of music and yoga through playing and teaching the harmonium, leading kirtan, and creating original music related to mantra and yoga. He has been actively teaching harmonium both online and in-person for the past 8 years and has helped bring the joy of mantra and music to many students throughout the world.
