Description
Join Seth Lieberman for a virtual Zoom course that will provide a complete introduction to harmonium playing in an interactive, group learning environment. This course is designed for new harmonium students who are looking for a foundation for their practice within the context of kirtan and sacred music. Each week we will focus on a different lesson and a different chant, which will be accompanied by easy-to-read music notation. In addition to becoming more comfortable playing the harmonium and chanting, this course will bring you into a deeper connection to music, sound vibration, spirit, and community.
The course includes:
6 hours of fun, accessible, interactive group learning
1 private 30 minute coaching sessions with Seth (scheduled separately)
Chants for your personal practice or for sharing with others
Easy-to-read notation sheets and audio recordings for the chants we learn (downloadable)
Video recordings of each session (downloadable)
No background with music is required. Students must provide their own harmonium.
Class size is limited to allow for more personal attention and a more intimate, group experience. Early registration is recommended to ensure a space.

Seth Lieberman
Seth Lieberman is a musician and yoga teacher residing in the Hudson Valley of New York. A lifelong music maker, he studied music composition, theory, clarinet, and piano at the University of Maryland, where he received BA in Music. During his 10 years of time living in Brooklyn, NY, he completed 3 different yoga teacher trainings. Seth has joined his two passions of music and yoga through playing and teaching the harmonium, leading kirtan, and creating original music related to mantra and yoga. He has been actively teaching harmonium both online and in-person for the past 8 years and has helped bring the joy of mantra and music to many students throughout the world.
