This course is designed for harmonium students with some basic experience who want to immerse themselves more deeply in a study of music, playing harmonium, chanting, and sharing kirtan with others. This course will empower you with an understanding of the inner workings and “anatomy” of music as we explore western scales, chords, and the music theory behind this practice. We will address some technical playing challenges beyond the beginner level and continue to develop our voices through deeper listening, mindfulness, and awareness of how we sing. This course will also prepare you to better be able to share kirtan with others, both in-person and virtually.
This course includes 2 private 30 minute coaching sessions with Seth.
