Eric Archer
Eric Archer is a multi-instrumentalist (fingerstyle guitar, charango/ronroco, tabla, bansuri and native-style flutes), visual artist, and poet drawing inspiration from nature and its bounty. He has performed in varying settings in the United States and in Europe, and is happy to call the Hudson Valley of New York his home. Exploring collaborations as diverse as americana, trip-hop, kirtan, folk, meditative, celtic, ambient, and Indian-classical, Eric aims to continually expand his own sounds and tastes to offer a unique feel to the universal language.
Eric has taught and played music at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies as the Bard/Musician-in-Residence, and as a staff-instructor. He was also one of the Innkeepers of the historic Sunnybank Inn in Hot Springs, NC -- a focal point within the tradition of Southern balladry, Appalachian roots music, and Scotch-Irish folk songs. Eric continues to collaborate with Prema Mayi and Radharani on their mantra music fusions, and accompany Biff Mithoefer in his Yoga Teacher Trainings -- pairing music with these deeply meditative and educational settings. Eric is a tabla student of Sri Suryaksha Desphande of the Farrukhabad Gharana, and a bansuri flute student of Grammy-Award winner Steve Gorn. Eric synthesizes these eclectic musical threads into a sound that is at once both traditional and modern. Learn more about Eric at www.ericarcherarts.com
Noah Hoffeld
Purpose-driven cellist, composer and producer Noah Hoffeld plays kirtan, scores films about spirituality, and sings rock songs for seekers. He’s been featured with artists like Natalie Merchant and Renee Fleming, and in A Walk in the Woods with Robert Redford. His playing opens the new album by Krishna Das, Trust in the Heart. Seth Lieberman
Seth Lieberman is a classically trained musician and yoga teacher who happened upon kirtan in 2009. The simplicity of the music-making, the spiritual connection with the Sanskrit language, and the way it made him feel connected to the divine and others sent him on a path of exploration, which he continues to this day. In addition to leading and participating in kirtan, he is a gifted music and yoga teacher. He primarily teaches harmonium, voice, and how yoga practice can be applied to playing an instrument and making and appreciating music. For more info: www.sethyogamusic.com
